This exam is mandatory in the USA, Australia, and Canada. GMAT Candidates interested in Management studies have to take the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). The purpose of GMAT is to select students seeking admissions for business colleges. The average scores of GMAT are in the range of 570-580, some top school requires a score of at least 700. Recently, there has been an introduction of new sections, like Integrated Reasoning. In addition to this, the test has become more competitive than it was before. GMAT test centers are available across the globe in more than 500 locations. You have to book your exam slot in advance. GRE The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is also one of the popular examinations for candidates who aspire to study in the US or Canada. This standardized test measures the following skills; Verbal Mathematical General analytical skills The exam pattern changes quite often, and the same exam acts as an admission requirement for most of the graduate courses, like engineering and the sciences. IELTS International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is one of the popular entrance exams to demonstrate English language proficiency. Many universities and colleges accept IELTS scores, and it is accepted widely across the world. IELTS is a mandatory exam for non-native English speakers (especially in the Commonwealth countries). This exam is required not only for the entry to reputed colleges but also for immigration requirements as well for example UK, US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. PTE (Pearson Test of English) is also an alternate for IELTS but only for some countries like Australia. The British Council conducts the IELTS. TOEFL The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is also one of the popular entrance exams to demonstrate English language proficiency. Most of the universities and colleges accept TOEFL scores, and it is accepted widely across the world. The TOEFL is held almost throughout the year, mostly on weekends, exam slots should be booked in advance.
